He loves animals and he is a GOOD person. He would never hurt an animal. He spent many years of his life restoring the dunes in San Francisco for wildlife, teaching troubled youth about conservation, job skills and leadership. He has always been a hard working man and an amazing leader that sets a positive example for others. WE ARE ALWAYS QUCIK TO BLAME IN THIS WORLD AREN'T WE! without realizing what he has to go through now, how his life has been damaged and how hurt he must be. I didn't think I would ever find out anything. Since the day it happened here at Northpointe, I have been sick at heart. Yes, over the plight of poor feral cats, because it's not their fault. But mostly because of you, Rich, and what I knew this must have done to your personal life. We said "hello" often .. you helped moved new appliances into my apartment near the street on the north end. I have two dogs (tiny one and medium furry one) and I know you know who I am. I can't say I "Know" you to any extent but I was sure I felt that you were a good and decent man and you worked so hard. I have watched those cats multiply regular through the five years I've been here and have complained, hoped for a solution and seen nothing done at all. I love cats, but feral cats are dangerous. They carry diseases. you worry about the babies getting run over. The big ones can be scary and they use the bathroom wherever they wish. I knew you could never have done that maliciously because you are certainly not stupid, at the very least. And only a stupid person would do something so blatantly for whatever reason. The wall is a mess and has been forever .. another thing not fixed. I also wrote a reply on the Cat Sanctuary page about this and about you. People are so quick to judge when they know nothing and it serves no purpose but to fill the world with hate and bad judgments. We had one of the kittens ourselves (about the last one) and it was taken away with the rest. They are the first, I think, of all the numerous kittens born here that actually have a chance to live a good life. I also hope things change here and this situation is stopped forever. And I hope all the best for you, somehow, someday. My good thoughts are sent to you every day and I have learned that means something. Try to keep heart. Somehow you will get through it.
