I have known Rich since January when I moved into the Northpointe apartments. Since then, I have spent almost everyday with him. I can honestly vouch for him and say that he did not do what he has been accused of. I have personally witnessed both his attempts to control the cat problem as well as the efforts he made to do his job to the best of his ability.
I have also personally witnessed residents come up to him and brag about how they let their dogs loose on the cats. Like everyone else, he does have his downfalls but he is a really good man who is incapable of doing such a thing. If he were this type of man I would not have trusted him with my very own kittens while I was across the states let alone with my newborn. I, too, am an animal lover and would not tolerate anyone who wasn’t.
This whole situation has ruined the man’s life and it is to my belief that full retribution should be given to him. If he is to go to jail for doing his job, then why not arrest the eight year old who shot BB’s at a pigeon, or the guy who accidentally ran over a cat crossing the world, or better yet the little girl who stepped on an ant? Seriously, this accusation is just as retarded as putting peanut butter on shoe lases. He does not deserve this.
